Jazz, Now Playing in CrowdStrike Falcon
Melody, Jazz's agentic investigator, is now available as an app on CrowdStrike Foundry - bringing evidence-backed data protection findings into the Falcon console.

The announcement comes 5 months after Jazz won the 2026 CrowdStrike, AWS and NVIDIA Startup Accelerator, selected from more than 1,000 startups.
Why this matters for Falcon customers
Effective data protection isn't just about knowing that data moved - it's about knowing whether that movement was actually risky. An engineer pushing code to a personal GitHub, a salesperson exporting a report before a customer meeting, a document pasted into a GenAI tool: the event alone doesn't tell you which of these is business as usual and which is your IP walking out the door. Answering that takes an investigation.
That investigation is what Melody does. For every data movement, Melody, Jazz’s agentic investigator, connects four dimensions - the data itself, the systems it moved between, the people involved, and the business process behind it. From millions of signals, what reaches your analysts is the small number of findings that are genuinely high-risk, each one already investigated, actionable, and with the evidence attached.
With the Foundry app, those findings now land natively in Falcon. As Daniel Bernard, CrowdStrike's Chief Business Officer, put it: "Melody brings Jazz's business context to data protection investigations, putting that innovation to work directly in the Falcon platform where analysts are already working."
Business context layered onto the rich security context already in Falcon means your team sees the complete picture of data risk in one place - and can focus on decisions instead of manual, time-consuming investigations - while Melody resolves everything that doesn't need them at all.
How it works
The integration is built on CrowdStrike Foundry, the Falcon platform's application layer, and is designed so a security team gets value the same day it's installed:
1. Install from the Foundry app catalog. The Jazz app installs in a few clicks - no new agent to deploy to get started, and no change to existing workflows.
2. Melody investigates the signals already flowing through Falcon. Data protection signals that the Falcon sensor already collects are routed into Melody's investigation pipeline. Each one is investigated across the four dimensions - data, systems, people, and business process - the same way a skilled analyst would work a case, at a scale no team could staff.
3. Findings return to Falcon, pre-investigated. The result lands in the Falcon record your analysts are already working in: a decided, evidence-backed finding with the full story of what happened and why - who was involved, what the data actually is, where it's been, and whether the movement fits how your business works. And when Melody's verdict is that no human attention is needed, it closes the finding on the analyst's behalf - every closure documented, every piece of evidence attached.

4. Extend coverage with the Jazz endpoint agent when you're ready. When you want Melody to see beyond the Falcon sensor - prompt-level GenAI visibility, desktop applications, shadow IT, personal cloud accounts - a single lightweight endpoint agent (under 1% CPU) adds a second signal layer, with the data's full history behind every verdict. The natural motion: start agentless in clicks, add depth when you want it.

What teams catch on day one
Crowdstrike Falcon customers running Jazz see investigated findings across the risk areas that are hardest to make sense of with traditional controls:
- GenAI data risk: sensitive data moving to personal AI accounts, caught from the telemetry Falcon already collects and distinguished from legitimate corporate use - blocked or surfaced with context, not banned outright.
- Departing-employee risk: data movement patterns around resignations and offboarding, investigated with the business context to tell pre-exit hoarding from normal handoff.
- Shadow IT sprawl: unsanctioned tools touching sensitive data, discovered from real usage rather than allowlists.
No rules to write, no regex to maintain - Melody works from an understanding of your business, and it starts building that understanding the day you turn it on.
"The expanding CrowdStrike ecosystem creates immense value for customers, and we're excited for Jazz to be part of it," said Ido Livneh, Jazz co-founder and CEO. "Melody understands the data, systems, people, and intent behind every data flow, revealing the full story of what happened and why. Bringing that intelligence into Falcon makes advanced data-protection investigation more accessible to CrowdStrike customers."
